Description
Pura is Coco's pet tiger. He let her ride him across the Great Wall of China during Uka Uka's attempt to gather crystals from different time periods. Despite being only a cub, Pura runs very fast and has amazing stamina. He purrs, meows, and loves being petted by his owner, much like a domestic cat. He also gets along fine with Polar and Baby-T, Crash's animal companions.
Variations
In Crash: Boom, Bang!, Pura is anthropomorphic, wears pants, and is able to talk.
Trivia
- Pura was set to make an appearance in Crash of the Titans. The original draft was centered around the idea of Crash having to rescue him and Baby-T.
- In Crash Team Racing, Pura was originally intended to share a kart with Polar. Due to technical limitations, they were each put in his own kart.

The original design. His head is meant to have stripes, but this detail was omitted from the game model.
Crash Bandicoot The Wrath of Cortex
Pura is darker and slightly bigger, and his head and ears are rounder. He has V-shaped stripes on his forehead as intended in his original design. His eyes are smaller, round, and have bigger irises. Pura also has whiskers and longer claws.

Crash Nitro Kart
Pura has reverted to his original design, though lighter in color and with more teeth visible. The V-shaped stripes from the previous design were kept on his forehead, and his muzzle has some new stripes as well. He spends the entire game wearing N. Trance's brainwashing helmet.

N. Sane Trilogy / CTR Nitro-Fueled

Pura's fur color is even brighter than before. The more modern hardware allows for a higher detail and realistic fur and whiskers. Notable changes include the smaller pupils and yellow irises instead of green ones, as well as rounder digits that aren't as close to each other. The tip of his tail ends in black now.
